Marcia, the founder of The River School, is an artist, gallery owner and Michigan-certified K-8 teacher, with an endorsement in the sciences. European travels from an early age influenced Marcia's interest in classic arts and languages. Later travels to Africa and South America gave her a deep appreciation for global cultures.
